Makeup is optional but please be aware that we may have a photographer taking some photos at the UPAC dress rehearsal. If you wish to be photographed with stage makeup, the is up to you.
We are so incredibly grateful and happy to be able to hold to our recitals at UPAC!! ITS GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL SHOW!!!
With the exception of the older kids going to prom (we will run their pieces earlier and then again) This rehearsal is in the order of the Show!
We understand that this is a very busy time of year for everyone, however, we ask that you take these rehearsals seriously and make every attempt to make sure your child can attend. These rehearsals are considered mandatory and are designed to make your child comfortable with their dance and the idea of performing. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your call and expect to stay 15-30 minutes past your time slot. Each time slot is about 15 minutes long so that is a total of 45-60 minutes. We rarely run behind schedule but things happen that cannot be expected sometimes and we like to be prepared!
Please read the times carefully and be on time for your child’s or your rehearsal we will not rerun the pieces if you are not on time as we are on a tight schedule.
Every child arriving to rehearsal must come around to the back of the theater entrance by the parking lot and must be checked in. Parents may join their children in the theater for dress rehearsal. If your child is in multiple pieces they can remain in the theater or you may check them out and check them back in. Please remember there is no eating or drinking in the theater. We do have the back lunch room available to us. As said before we are the only studio to be able to rent it. That is because we take great care and keep it clean!!! Please continue to clean up for yourselves and for anyone else who forgot.
